TSS provide Citrix remote access solution for The Waterflow Group Plc.

The Waterflow Group Plc are one of the UK's leading providers of drain and sewer maintenance, inspection, repair and pipe renovation services. Their involvement in the large civil engineering projects in this sector have led to a dispersed personnel structure with satellite sites being set-up where their projects take them. The VPN solution being used to support this topology was seen as inadequate from a peformance point of view and Waterflow invited ideas from external consultancies.

TSS recommended and demonstrated the Citrix Access Essentials product. Targetted at the SME market and supporting up to 75 remote users this is the perfect solution for remote Windows application access. The on-site demonstration highlighted the incredible performance increase that can be achieved using the Citrix software, along with its simplicty of use and management. TSS planned the project implementation for a smooth roll-out. Using HP Proliant technology in conjunction with the Access Essentials software the remote access solution was rolled out at head office and across the three satellite sites. This has resulted in vastly increased remote user performance, improved productivity and a reduction in support calls.
