The Fremantle Trust is a not-for-profit provider of high quality care and support services. In 50 locations across Buckinghamshire, Milton Keynes, Maidenhead, Barnet and Harrow 1,500 dedicated staff are passionate about helping people live life to the full. Fremantle support the individual lifestyle choices of almost 2,000 residents, tenants and daycare members in care homes, supported living schemes, domiciliary care and daycare.

The Trust sought a partner to roll-out a Cisco Catalyst and Cisco Aironet POE (Power Over Ethernet) solution at their Harrow site. As a total solutuons provider TSS were able to tender for the cabling and Cisco aspects as a single entity. This was attractive to the Trust as it provided a single point of contact for the entire project and reduced their management overhead. Having performed the site survey and submitted a competitve proposal TSS were selected as the preferred suppier.

The cabling aspects of the project were undertaken out of hours to minimise disruption. On completion of the cabling the Cisco engineers were put on-site to install the network solution which was undertaken efficiently to provide an excellent infrastructure to users regardless of their location within the premises. As part of TSS' end to end project management The Fremantle Trust have a support contract in place for their new network providing guaranteed repsonse times to ensure business continuity.
