Nordoff-Robbins select TSS as their preferred supplier for an outsourced IT installation and support project.

Nordoff-Robbins is the UKs leading independent provider of music therapy services. Each year they provide over 30,000 music therapy sessions to children and adults in need across the UK. Nordoff-Robbins Music Therapy employs over 40 music therapists throughout the UK. Services are provided at their London Centre and through regional centres in Manchester, Newbury and Croydon. 

The rapid growth in personnel and the geographically diverse nature of their services had outgrown their IT infrastructure which was based around standalone PC's. Nordoff-Robbins were aware that they needed to bring their IT into the 21st century and that they would need to employ the skills of a knowledgeable and reliable IT company. The project was put out to tender and after a thorough process, which involved several presentations and meetings, Nordoff-Robbins selected TSS as their preferred partner. 

The project comprised of providing a gigabit cabling infrastructure throughout the London HQ as a backbone to their network. Windows 2003 Server and Exchange 2003 Server were employed as the core applications. The hardware was based around the HP Proliant ML370 G5 with HP Ultrium 400Gb data back-up. Watchguard security was implemented and provide the VPN tunnels for the remote sites.
